Lots of 1959 BU's

I just finished a bag where I found 1336 pennies dated 1959 that look like they came straight from the mint. I don't know if they are worth much, but I found it unusual to find so many in perfect or near perfect condition. I also found a total of 29 wheat pennies in that bag. 20 of which are in BU and are from 1955 to 1958. Is there any demand for such items?

Would be cool to make some solid date AU/BU rolls with the 59s

Yes, there is always demand for AU/BU coins. Bid is 1.8x FV for the 1959 BU penny roll. You probably can't get exactly that but you can defintely get more then face.

I would ask if a widow turned in a lot of coins. If so buy some dime and quarter bags.

I just sorted a box and found an apparently brand new 1972D, and a really red 54D, still it's always fun to find something so old so shiny but hey, it was either dumped from rolls or sat in a jar for years. I know at my dumping grounds they will not take customer wrapped rolls, they say open the package and dump it into the machine.

Heck, roll em, keep em, sell em in a lot, probably get about double, I can barely even find a 59 in the wild anymore and they are dirty.
