Found a Civil War Token

Heard of them,never seen one until tonight.
Though it was a Indian at first.No not a Indian.
Then a thought,maybe gold?No not gold
Its a copper 1863 New York.
Took some time searching the nets to find out more.

The one in the picture is in way better shape then mine,but at least you can tell what it is
It's not a huge windfall,but I am enjoying the history.
And feeling very honored that Uncle George stopped in for a visit.
Ive been real lucky since starting this hobby.It's amazing what you could find sorting pennies!
