Hey, I'm just wondering if a Glory WS-21 Coin Wrapper that is virtually brand new for $4250 is a bad price... $4250 is a lot of money and I'm sure I can get a lot more bang for my buck when it comes to automatic coin wrappers. :| Let me know what you think...

I would not do it if I were you. Get a "good" used version and save $2,000.

Either way these machines require a handy-man to keep running. So why buy new?

You can get a much better coin wrapper for that kind of money! If you want to spend that much PM me and I can get you a good used one shipped to your house for probably less than that!

you can dump over 4,250,000 pennies at coinstar for that amount or $1700 a month for the next two years.

Good perspective!! It would be hard to justify buying one of these unless you had serious volume going on.

Hes like me and in Canada though, we don't all have access to a coinstar. I have one bank in my entire city of around a million (no other near by cities) that has a coinstar and they are a one branch credit union. We also have a 2 or 3 more in supermarkets (and are in ones that you perhaps may not want to walk in with a 1000 face of copper and dump).

Are the guys dumping 1000 plus in zincs a week using only 1 coinstar to do it?

Exactly, there is one coin machine in the city that I use...and I use it way to much. So I'm definately in need of an automatic coin wrapper. Thanks to the help of many people on this forum I now know that my money can go a lot further for $4250. So that one is out of the question.

If anyone sees a good buy let me know! :)

Thanks,
Metaldog

That is very high for a used wrapper. The only thing that I would point out is that you need to buy one in Canada, or you will have to get it programmed for Canadian coin (if you plan on wrapping loonies or toonies...) If it is just pennies and nickels, you will be fine. But when you decide to sell it in Canada, you may find it tough if it is programmed only for US coins. Contact your local dealer to be certain that you can have it programmed when it arrives (or expect to be stuck with it or prepared to ship it south of the boarder again if you want to sell it.)

Good machine.. but the price is high for a used one. They are only $7100 new. I have one of these and am very happy with it.. but I paid a lot less.

Where in Canada are you located? Do you need a fully automatic, or could you use tubes with a counter?

Saskatchewan

I need an automatic. I already have a billcon coin counter that I use to tube coins.
