I spent over a year establishing a relationship with a CU so that I could buy bags of coins straight from their coin counter. One of the conditions is that I would never return them to any of their branches and I never did. I bought coins every week from two different branches for probably 3 years ( between $100-$300 a week) and then had some health issues that prevented me from sorting for about a year or so. I stopped in the other day to get a bag to take with me to my daughters for Christmas because my Grandson loves to sort. I was told they would no longer sell to ANYONE because they had some individuals that would buy a bag or three, take them home sort them and bring them right back to the same branch they bought them from. I finally convinced them to sell me a bag but was told that was the last time. Makes me angry but not much I can do about it. Thanks for letting me vent a little.

That is very unfortunate.
One bad apple and a barrel and something...
If you do still have some social capital there you might visit 1-3 more times just for small cash transactions, then try to broach the topic again. Lots of kindness and nods and you may get back in on a probationary basis.
Hope so!!
Peace brother

Glad to hear that your health is better! Try to find a new CU!

Other sorters ruining it for everyone. My bank told me I was costing them money. LOL. I reminded them that my account balance earning 0% more than offset the token amount it cost the bank. Not them.
I had your problem years ago. No problem moved my business to another bank. There are too many banks that want new accounts and fresh deposit sources.
