Some of you may still be picking up pennies for sorting. Have you started seeing boxes of 2017 pennies yet? I got a box of new pennies a couple of weeks ago but they were 2016-D. Today I stopped at a few branches I thought might have some boxes in but nothing so far. In fact the branches had a lot of customer wrapped rolls instead. There were a few tellers today that were overloaded with them and were happy to get rid of them. Now I have a few hundred dollars of CWRs to go through. Maybe those branches will find themselves short on pennies and place an order to restock their vault. I'll go back in a week or so to see if a new shipment of 2017's arrived.

Personally I have not seen any yet. 3 weeks ago I got a solid box of 2016 D mint. I am from the upstate NY area, so getting boxes of D mint is odd. Yesterday I got solid rolls of 2016 P cents. So my area seems to still be using up there 2016.

Still haven't found any 2017''s yet. I keep picking up bank wrapped rolls every week for sorting but they are all circulated coins.

Got three mord 2017 P cents from little ceasers

I picked up 2 boxes in RI last Friday. I noticed a P on the cent. This is the 1st P on the 1 cent. It was done in observance of the 225th anniv of the Phillie mint. It was done without fanfare to see how long it would be before the public noticed. They may be mixed with new 2016 rolls. Next year will have no P.
I have a question too. Should I open these rolls to see how many are 2017? I see that some are selling rolls for up to 10x face value. There will be a lot of suckers out there because tons of being minted.

I picked up $5 in solid rolls from a bank in Bloomfield, NY a couple days ago. March is typical for my area, with respect to seeing the first new cents.

I've gotten tons of 2017's at this point (let's just say 50-100 total), both P and D. I was hoping someone might find the elusive 2017 No Mint Mark one, which could be rather special.

Any 2018s yet?

I've gotten some in my change. Don't recall if it's P or D. I have not bought Penny's in a couple years.
