I am moving and would like to move less :) - Copper pricing?

I have a lot of copper cents that I purchased primarily off this forum.

I'm now moving and although I don't mind moving my horde, it turns out harder than I thought :)

Anyway, what are copper cents going for nowadays? I scanned the "B.I.N." listings and didn't see any copper cents listed?

I bought them all a few years ago between 1.25 and 1.40 delivered per cent. I would gladly sell a lot of them for 1.25 plus cost of shipping or pickup in person, but maybe that's not possible?

Wow, maybe I should be a buyer instead of a seller and convince my wife we need to keep them all :)

Is it typical to be so cheap? I would probably start buying again at $115 shipped and then the headache of moving them would just be "more hoarding", which I still enjoy.

For the price of shipping you can sell what you have and not worry about moving it. You can restock (if you decide to) once you get resettled. :shifty:

If there is no profit why not just take it back to the bank?

you have a point. It's a pain to properly box up 69 pounds of pennies so that the box will withstand Tomahawk missile strikes. Oh, wait... different subject.

If your time is more valuable than the meager profit you could make, certainly return them to the bank. You'll make some other local hunter extremely happy. You could
try Craigslist so that you didn't have to box them up.

It was easier to weigh them, pack and ship, than take them to the bank. I only had 15 ctus.

I'm glad they're gone. I hope you guys can buy cheap and profit.
