question re: 1953-s pennies

I inherited some of these from my grandfather. I have quite a few. Should I trade them for other things, or just hang onto them? Not sure why he purchased so many, maybe to resell individually? I really don't know.

What condition are they? Still in original rolls?

They have been opened but their condition is nice. They are not uncirculated, at least not from what I see.

Pretty common date. I have them listed on FEEBAy for $2.20 per roll if you buy 4 or more rolls and I am not selling any. Probably worth $2.50 to $3.00 per roll. Unless they are in UNC condition. Then they would be worth a little more.
