my first haul

Postby Gamecock » Thu Mar 24, 2011 5:18 pm

Hello everyone, I just recently got into sorting and this is my first haul.

Pennies - $20 - 2,000 searched

found: 447 Cu, 1 Canadian penny (98% Cu), 5 wheats (42, 44, 50, 55, 55), and 2 dimes

And, while I was picking up the pennies, I decided to get some halves just for shiggles.

Halves - $40 - 80 searched

found: 9 40% silver

Not a bad day! Be sure to head over to the Tracking Forum to post your finds there... Country keeps track of several statistics there that I find pretty interesting.

Ha, same to you slick. I'm in columbia.

I wish i could get more rolls of halves from there, but that $40 was all they had. It's a credit union and only gets coins when members bring them in. Beginner's luck, I guess, with all that Ag.

Lamecock,

I lived in Columbia/West Columbia for 20 years.

I still go down about once a month.

Gotta get my Zesto's fix. Lol

nice haul on the silver, I want to grab some rolls but i figure they have been picked almost clean over the years. I always get in the game too late.
Name me one investment where you gain at least 50% the second you purchase it and never have a chance to lose the initial investment.

Just joined the forum myself, no luck on halves yet, but only search a few rolls at a time.
Those are about same that I have been seeing on pennies lately, but haven't been searching too much the past month.
