Speaking of coinflation, I just did some clicking around there and learned something new to me. The website was sold to Collectors Universe in Sept. 2011. Interesting timing, eh?

Collectors Universe deals mainly in sports trading cards and other memorabilia. Big company with dozens of open job positions right now, especially in Santa Ana, California.

Coinflation's last Tweet was on March 18, 2015 and looks like the following. What in THE world is that about?

I keep a few Ike dollars around. They are interesting and they prove how little metal value the quarter, half, and dime have.

On the other hand, the dollar need only drop another 75% to make the Ike dollar, half, quarter, and dime worth more than face value.

I actually sell the SBA's for face value to a customer that buys other stuff from me. I only get about 8-10 of them a year. But I must admit that I would trade an SBA for two rolls of pennies so that I could pull out the copper for face.

At 92.5% copper I say. Why do pennies if you could get sba.

For a dollar a SBA gets you 7.5 grams of copper. For a dollar of copper cents you get 294.5 grams of copper.

Because I cannot sell an SBA for more than face (no market). But I CAN sell copper for more than face, AND I can pull wheats here and there.

Huh???? Why would you pay $1 for a SBA that has $.09 worth of copper and HANG ONTO IT? Am I missing something?
