I bought copper rounds back in 2012 for $1 and was able to resell for $2 in 2024. I held for 12 years to make 100% minus shipping. That is 8.3%/year minus shipping and ebay fees. Not bad.
The average price for silver in 2012 was $31.15 per ounce. Today it's $31.85. Hm....I made better with copper bullion by far. In 2014 it was about $20/oz. I guess I started stacking the year silver was too high. Overall in my small sample, copper was actually the better deal. I think I'll keep stacking both.

Timing is everything.
