I agree with your thinking, but I have to mention that copper AS PER COINFLATION has been going down every day for over a week. It's been consistently dropping 1-4 cents a day. Now 4.33 as I type this. The copper futures price does not apply to some people here including myself.
I began following coinflation in 2011 - that was 14 years ago. Highest Cu that I saw was 4.87
