I save them because I find them in the bags of coins that I go through. Just nice to see the different places that they come from.

I find them in my bags also. I keep wondering how they make it through the counter without jamming it up.

I just started collecting them a couple of months back. Actually, I picked up 4 pressed pennies today while visiting The Chattanooga Choo-Choo!

I have three. My favorite was found in the gravel of a campsite on the Natchez Trace Parkway on a motorcycle tour on my '80 'Zuki 550. It's an elongated, pressed, penny from the Memphis Zoo. Unfortunately it's pressed on a Zincer.

My favorite is one I taped to the railroad track behind my apartment...actually two. One for me and one for my son. The only writing on it says: Compliments of Union Pacific

GA, check out the ATL zoo and Stone mountain park.
once you start saving them, you see them everywhere.
they are a remarkable inexpensive souvenir at only 51 cents.

Carter's, from the old forum, son collected them. I would send him small flat rate boxes full about every other month or so. She never made it over to the new forum though
. Now I sit here with a coffee can full!

I only get them in Half bags or rolls. No other coins have produced any. I have gotten about 10 or so of them . My last one was in a roll of half's.

Try to grab these whenever I stumble across a machine. Found the passport keeper for them at a truck stop there is a website if anyone is interested.
Just a cheap hobby as others said 51 cents and it doesn't need dusted
