BTW the 2009 mint sets are copper from http://mintnewsblog.blogspot.com/2008/12/copper-2009-lincoln-cents.html
"One aspect of the upcoming 2009 Lincoln Cents that does not seem to be getting much attention is the 95% copper numismatic versions of the coins that will be issued." The coppers will have worth. :D

Just went through 4 boxes from the bank ($100 FV) and found a total of 74 cents from 2009. Try finding a Presidency -P; they're tough. I've only pulled 4 so far (out of about $500 FV). But of course, they have the lowest mintage since the 1955-S - 129,600,000.

I have some of the copper cents. I actually got mine as a present. BTW, There is a chance they will show up in the wild as thieves, children, etc spend coin collections, so double check the 2009 you do get.

I'm sick of the 09's and 10's too here in western NY. I just return 30 rolls of 09's that I was saving.

I list the ones I find in my report to the copper penny handsorting thread. They are few and far between for me here in Central Florida.

I save them for our son and his wife for a future anniversary gift as that was the year they were married. The 2009 pennies go in a jar separate from the jar for the non-penny 2009 coins I come across in my searches.

Enjoy your coin searches, everyone. :geek:
