What is one pound of copper pennies worth assuming the melting ban is lifted and copper is trading at $5?

I would guess around the $4.40 range. It should bring #2 scrap or maybe #1 scrap depending on the place you get rid of it. Foundries who like the mix will also pay more than scrap for it.
