I do throw any BU coppers from the sixties that I find into a separate pail. After all they are either 50 years old or will be soon.

I do definitely keep nice shiny, BU coppers. I have even found 3 or so from the 1940's and a very nice '93 Canadian yesterday. I probably only have $2 or so saved up, but they look beautiful.

I'm making one set of '59 - '82 "shiny" coppers just for my own kick and giggles. Other than that, no.

I think Brinks was hoarding 1968s because I got hundreds of them in the last few string boxes just as bright and shiny as a brand new one. Not sure where they were for all that time. I save all the shinys

I have a separate $50 bag for the EX/AU Memorials; especially for the older ones (59-76). Some day I am quite sure they will command at least a slight premium over the lower grades.

I just started setting them aside...not sure if they will ever be "special" or not. It makes for a nice looking jar of change though....

I sort and save the nice coppers too - It goes back to "someday the grandkids..." - might have a few starter sets with what I've separated so far.
