Anyone ever do a non stop sort of 1000 FV with your Ryedale and time it?

Never with that many, but from my experience you'll knock that out in under 6 hours.

Unfortunately they were all Brinks string boxes and my finger tips are raw from opening all them. I usually don’t do this many all at once but I've been busy at work and haven't had the time to get to them for a couple weeks so I was backing up. The girlfriend is away to Boston for the weekend and its rainy out so I figured I would take advantage of the situation and get some copper.

And what do you know, just my luck, Murphy's law smacks me in the face... 1.5 hours into sorting with the Ryedale and the power went out. The whole street is out from a tree branch that broke the power line. It's going to be a long time before that is back up and running. Luckily I have an inverter in the truck so I can charge my laptop and phone.

Initiate Plan-B, I’m going to the bar. Ill post some pics in the members general forum

Oh hey Andy do you think the Ryedale will run off of my truck inverter? It's a 1000W, has two 120v plugs. The most load I have had on it is my laptop and a cell phone charger. Will I void the waranty if I plug in the Ryedale?

Should be plenty of power for a Ryedale. If I recall correctly, the Ryedale power supply is 12V and 3A, so 36W. The AC side might be a little higher wattage due to losses, but still way under 1000 ;)

I've done $1000 face all at once. Opening and sorting. It took us around 6 ish hours to have it all sorted.

Why are brinks the worst to open? They are much faster than paper. Just slice the wrapper with a razor.
