Just sold 100 pounds of pennies for $400!

Postby cfnnb » Tue May 31, 2011 3:36 pm

A guy on craigslist emailed me and said he would pay $400 for 100 pounds if I drove to him about 30 miles away. I went and he paid me without even looking at them. I can't believe I got that much. He said he would want 1-200 pounds a week!

Sell, sell, sell. Wow, that is a great price for little work. He must be betting on copper going through the roof.

Way to go! I've been saying that there are folks out there who'll pay spot price, just like we do for junk silver.

I just put an add saying I was selling copper pennies, I don't know if i'm allowed to copy add links to my own items in the forum but it is listed under the kansas city craigslist and type copper pennies. The man said his own price and I agreed to it without question.

Lucky you. I've got an ad on the St. Louis page, and the only offer I've gotten is from someone who wanted to pay me 1.3x. Sigh.

You can do you own search by doing an advanced Goggle search. I think it will list out by were you live. Also you might try the term silver.

Just order in from the handsorter members to supply this guy and keep doing 100-200 pounds per week to the $4 a pound guy. If you can't keep up with the demand by sorting, just order from other members and arbitrage them.
