There really is a IH cherry.

A few times I have complained that I have hand sorted close to 1 million pennies by hand and did not get one IH. Well a couple of weeks ago i finally got one (1893). People told me now that I have popped my Ih cherry so to speak I would get more. Sure enough just two weeks later I got another one an even better date 1867.

Congrats. To have sorted close to 1,000,000 pennies is incredible. Think of all the penny candies those purchased in their time..... it is mind boggling and my teeth are hurting...

Thanks for the pictures, they are great.

Yeah $40 is pretty good, better than find several common date IHs.

HAHA I found my first wild indian today!! 1891. I was thinking how I have put almost 500,000 through the rydale, without finding a single one. About 3 minutes later I looked down into my zinc bucket and there he was. Just begging to be taken out of circulation after 120 years of diligent service to Uncle Sam. Yes, it time for your service to end. Off to the dry, dark, airtight chamber, to rest peacefully for another 120 years. (hopefully!!)

I found my first IHC today! 1907. Hopefully this is the first of many to come. I have about $600FV copper boxed up so far since I got my Ryedale. This one was accepted as copper. Sweet!
