Yes, possibly a VN-5 (Very Nice-5) but I'm going to give it a VN-6 due to the nice spacing and uniform sizes of the "digs".

Most likely a button, but maybe a whizzer.. but whizzers were usually made from large cents.

That would be a guy takin' a whiz. If the stream goes through the holes, you get to keep the coin.

Whizzer is disc or coin with two holes run loop of string thru it with a twist an the coin rotates an make whizzing sound
could drive teachers nuts
