Yay. I finally did it. Was pouring out roles into the ryedale and out falls my first indian head. G-4 1883. Can't post pictures I'm afraid due to no camera that provides a decent picture. I've gone through about 100,000 pennies now I think.

Edit: Ok I'm having a great day. I just found a silver dime in my penny rolls too. In the very next box.

Woohoo, great day, like you said. Still waiting for my silver dime in a penny roll, but I have found 2 IH's, while roll searching.
BUY A LOTTERY TICKET TODAY!!!
Better luck than I had! Today, I decided to buy $1000 is halves to search for silver, and I found nothing.:( Only an angry teller when I changed them for FRN's.
Keep up the good work!!

They tend to come in 3's. Congratulations! TexasCattleRancher, aka TenBears used to swear there were no longer any feathered liberty cents in the wild in Texas. He even formed a society of non-believers made up of several of the members here. Be sure to check your zinc rejects very carefully.. those crafty native american cents often try to hide there to escape capture.

Now I'm getting depressed, as well as not finding a 1909, I've yet to find an IHC through sorting. I did get a few from buying wheat rolls once at a coin shop though. Mine must be escaping through the zinc hole.

I finally found my first Indian Head penny after sorting $1200 to date. It was a pretty ugly one and a little green but a sight for sore eyes.
It is dated 1889 and came in a box with a 1919 wheat, a Barbados coin and a British coin.
