The description of how much space it would take up is crazy. 33 and 1/3 pallets. I'm sure I could find space though....

Correct me if I'm wrong, but 100K FV means the seller has 10 million cents, right?

If the entire universe of CU cents is 120-150 billion, then this lot here comprises 1/12000 - 1/15000 of every Cu cent.

Talk about cornering the market... :D

I would have to keep them in the basement as I would be worried about all the weight in the house... I live in a new house but 33 pallets of pennies is ridiculous. How much is the weight? i didn't see it.

I think about 33.3 tons.

Adam, hopefully that listing drew you some traffic and business to the portland mint. The per ton price is substantially less too but ebay needs a cut too

Is it possible that this offer to sell is bogus? It might be someone's idea of a joke.

The offer is legit.. and he has them in stock. I bet he could give you a slightly better price if you deal direct and the eBay/PayPal cut can be eliminated. You could save on shipping if you just buy $65k. That way you could ship it on one semi.

You would be amazed at what ebay wants for the lot if it sold. Its over $20k :o

Dealing direct is always better. Thats why I linked to the website and gave my number a few times.

Yeah, that eBay bite is one of the reasons I hardly ever sell anything on eBay anymore. I used to sell a lot of things there back in the good ol' days when fees were reasonable.
