On a second glance, it appears as if this Ebayer tried to built and sell the sorters (look at current auctions) has given up, and has decided to let others know where to buy the parts. Parts that he could not configure to work at a viable level to warrant trying to sell the units. Just my guess.

Notice that he says he will tell you where to buy the parts but you will have to make one part. It's not hard to find and buy coin hoppers and comparitors (suzohapp.com). The little ramp that connects the two is the specialty part you'll have to make. Either that orange HotWheel car track or strips of plexiglass bent and glued will work well. Or buy a Ryedale.
