Not sure what to think about this

Anyone seen this?

They cover their shop floor with pennies. It's rather cool, yet, in some way to me it's a bit depressing.

cant believe they put an indian head down there.

i would think it would be difficult to keep it clean, and crud would end up in the gaps. would get pretty gross pretty fast.

i had a friend who had an industrial loft and he covered his counters with copper and it looked pretty cool. he had copper accents in his tiles, but there were no gaps.

Wow. I work about a mile from there. May have to take a trip and see it in person. I would guess they covered it with a self-leveling liquid acrylic or something to fill in the cracks and make it smooth. I could be wrong.

I was once at a small tavern where they rented canoes, dropped you off at a certain location, and then you floated back down to them. We ate in the tavern when we got back from the canoeing trip and the entire ceiling was covered with $1 bills left by patrons. You could sign the bill or do whatever you wanted and hang it up.

It was pretty neat.
