Hi, I'm new to this forum. I've been hoarding Cu pennies for the last 5 months now. I just bought a ryedale 1 month ago and I am very pleased... saves lots of neck and eye strain. Before I bought the ryedale I was hand sorting about 5000 per week, now I am searching about 50,000 pennies per week. The toughest thing is unwrapping all the penny rolls. I have multiple bank accounts and live in a large city so there are plenty of bank branches to penny pillage

I've also been into gold and silver since 2001. I starting buying back then too (you know, when Ag was around $5 bucks).

Anyway, I thought I'd introduce myself. I look forward to reading/sharing ideas with all of you guys.

Welcome aboard. So you started with silver before trying copper? Same here but I wasn't as early as you on the silver. I started back in '05. Oh how I wish I could pick up more rolls of 90% Washington quarters for $50 like I was doing back then.

Yes, both silver and gold... isn't that odd. The reason I'm late to the game with Cu pennies is probably because I'm currently unemployed (actually semi-retired) and have mucho time on my hands. I needed another hobby.

Ah yes, I remember the days when I was buying $1000 face value bags of 90% JFK's, Wash quarters and Roosies for around $4000 per bag. The good ole days - sigh.

Regarding silver and gold, another buying opp is almost here... maybe even today.
