Spotted an Indian at McDonald's

There it was, in the plexi charity box on the counter. Right on top - upside down, of course. I briefly contemplated trying to suck it out with a straw, but I didn't want to make the 11 o'clock news.

Looked to be vf, maybe better.

Reminds me the McDonalds I used to work in, there was always a $5 bill in the charity
box. Someone told me the owner put it in to check if anyone was pilfering from it. If
the $5 bill was missing it would be really obvious. Maybe this Indian penny is the
same idea but more creative. :-D

I saw a buffalo nickel in one once. The only one I have ever seen in the wild.

Funny, I don't frequent McD's very often, but I was in one last night and I was scoping out the change bin as well. They just make it clear to tease us! Anyway, nothing good as far as I could tell, not even a copper cent as far as I could see.

Much better was this mornings Penny Arcade zinc dump that resulted in a 1946 Washington in the reject slot! I was happy about that. But I can tell you for sure that last week I would have been MUCH MORE excited than I was this morning. I am confident that this silver dip is temporary, but it is less fun finding wild silver on big dips like this. Jeez.. I kinda feel like a jerk whining about finding a silver quarter!

Oh monster box, you are still way too expensive for me, but maybe soon I will be able to buy you if this continues. Right before the rebound.

Manager doesn't have the key. A coin collection company is contracted with MCD to pick them up.
