Yesterday my girl friends daughter was at the house. She works at a gas station and her boss calls her. They have $5.50 cents worth of rolls with wheats on both ends. The boss knows I collect, because Monica always goes thru the register for me. Off to town she goes to get them,on her return she had opened the rolls and put them in a small box. The box was filled with 1930's wheats. Working the gravyard shift I put the box on the table and went to bed and then to work. What a long night just thinking about that small box. Well it's 8am and I will post the results when I am done.

Right there is the joy of coin collecting! You never know when the next little jewel will turn up! And to get so many in eleven rolls is a great story! Congratulations!

Thanks for the offers, but they are already in the grandkids books or in the bins ready to be rolled.

I was wondering when someone was going to catch that. And here I thought I had all the holes filled.

Darn! I always skim over the minute details and then look like a sap for missing the obvious. Great call HCBTT, wish I had caught it, too.

I'm not always awake. Sometimes you can catch me sleepin' .. like Wednesday night when I rolled up a small group of pennies to turn in with a bunch of dime rolls. I get to the bank on Thursday and look at the rolls and think.. that looks odd.. they are in orange paper. Seems I loaded quarter paper on the rolling machine and didn't even catch it. Guess I must have been really tired Wednesday night.

It took over a day for someome to catch it.
I was going to put in a couple of 31s just to see who wanted a real whole filler, but thought it would be a bit of a stretch. Great catch hoard.
Kathy thinks I am
for playing games, but were both sitting here getting a good laugh. Have a great day

Sorry for taking so long to catch it.. I had to work at the day job all day to support my bad penny habit and I had just gotten home from work. Caught it right away the first time I read the post. I was surprised how many missed it even after I put that big clue in about it.
Thanks for the great laugh.
