Broken Counters

I think I’ve finally got a system that works. I recently moved to a smaller community and dumping zinc was one of my biggest concerns. Kroger just opened a super store and it has a bank with a counter and at the other end of the store is a Coinstar that gives out store gift cards with no fee. I go to which ever counter I park closest to and then dump away. I’d say about half of the time the first counter I go to is ‘temporarily unavailable’ so I just go to the other one. Only 1 out of 10 ten times have both of them been offline.
I’m a hand sorter so I don’t really have that much to dump when I go. Usually under $50. I just hate hauling it in and then having to haul it back out.
How often are you caught hauling coins back out to the truck :?:

When I use my F350 to haul coins, I checked to make sure the machines are working before dragging in my buckets....recently I had to leave a CU branch because their machine was down...it happens every once in a while.

i went to a CU to pick up bagged cents to search. had 8 bags in the trunk and then i get a flat tire in the left lane of the interstate. had to lift the coins out to get to the spare, and wasn't much of anywhere to put them.

:P yep and its a chip'ed diesel powered four door, no yankee pansy 6 foot bed here, its a full 8 foot bed with a liftgate for those heavy half buckets...nuttin green about it except the color...every once in a while i will feed it some cooking oil ;) ...once when the closest CU counter wasn't working I traveled to another CU about ten miles away...when I got there...my tailgate was down with three buckets of pennies on the gate :o ....Oh Crap was I lucky that day...

...she's in for sure....just by the female rule....the truck is a bonus...

Yes, slick I do have a F100 with a gas powered 390...it just happens to be .040 over with a big cam, crank is grooved, polished and balanced with the weights knife edge....etc ect....soon to have a dual quad crossrammed Edelbrock on it.....or a blower not sure which way to go...

we should have a truck rodeo... ;)
