2 in one night?!?!?!?

Postby misteroman » Wed Nov 23, 2011 10:35 pm

Found 2 1907 indians about $50 apart tonight. Haven't really searched in the last few months or so but even when I did I think I only found 4-5 in 3 yrs sorting up to $500 a week sometimes. Also found a 34 George and a euro for good measure.

They were in a huge tub I had sitting around since june or july with about 20 boxes cracked open into.
I usually buy all a bank has when I visit. Isn't that the code?

Conga-rats! I have yet to find one in the wild (in modern times, did fine a couple when I was very young).

Hint--they're in the zinc bucket. (They're 88% copper.)

I found an 1890 Indian and a 1920-D in the same roll handsorting. The rolls were plastic wrapped Brinks rolls and were particularly rich in copper. Averaging about 29-32%. Normal around here is abour 25%.

LOng may your luck continue. Congrats.
I did it. I've been crazy enough to sort through 10,000 rolls of pennies. Almost makes you think, "some people will do anything to build up a coin collection."
