Brinks 4 boxes way low %

Just did 4 boxes of brinks pennys only had 0.67 in total copper in them .
Something is up with Brinks and pennys. Maybe their really is a super sorter in play.

I should have averaged about 19.00 to 21.00 in pennys

Just sorted two boxes of brinks in Ohio and they are still avg +- 30% so far so good. I will be sorting more now that work is slowing I guess time will tell.

We experienced this a couple of years ago. I was getting entire 24 box orders of circ zincolns. I even cancelled my weekly pickup at one bank. Sorting was really fast though.. just put a sealed box on the scale and move it to the outgoing stack.

I'm on the East coast. I sorted a few brink boxes this week. I have not noticed any difference... still got 25-30% coppers.

Picked up two boxes of loomis today, I see coppers. I have not searched in a few months, went to the bank to get my halves and they did not have them, big apologies from the main coin ordering teller, so I'm like give me something, how about a box of pennies, they bring me two instead! They know me well. I think with the ryedale sorters and increased sorting with bigger and bigger dumps the odds of finding skunk penny boxes would increase.

Turned out to be a great box, 23 wheats, and a 42 Canadian.

Im in the stl, MO and my copper per box are up a roll or 2 per box... maybe the coppers are shifting east somehow

All this recent talk about Brinks boxes yielding really low copper percentages has me a little worried that they might be pulling coppers here in So Cal too. Today I picked up $5 in rolls from Wells Fargo to see what I might find. Their rolls are in the plastic tubes which I assume are from Brinks. After one look at all of these shiny coins in there, I'm kind of afraid to even open them up to sort.

At least the sorting goes quickly when most of the pennies have a shield on the reverse!

Wheats: NONE

Copper non-wheat (5.20%):
25 - Memorial 1959-1981
1 - Memorial 1982

Zinc:
5 - Memorial 1982
182 - Memorial 1983-2008
3 - Anniversary 2009
284 - Shield 2010-2011

Even if I disregard all of those shiny new pennies in there and just count the Lincoln Memorial cents I had 26 copper out of 213 total for 12.2%

I picked up 4 rolls this morning in mid-Michigan. I got skunked. Never had that happen before.
