So, I have a 5 gallon jug half full of wheats,
Then While I'm sorting this morning,
my 3 yo son asks if he could play with some of my unsorted pennies.
I gave him a box of rolls, thinking that would keep him occupied a lil while.
next thing i know he's unwrapping 'em. just like dear ole dad.
then they're just GONE!
I asked him about it, and he shows me where he put them.
In my jug 'o wheats. :x  :x

You have to watch those 3-year olds. Sometimes they put coins in their mouths and swallow them :o .

Since my youngest son is in his twenties, I can yuck it up over this story. Might wanna rethink that jug, though, if it's glass. I was making a dump (har!) at a bank with one of those s-l-o-o-o-w coin machines, and a lady who was also waiting told me she was bringing in her pennies after her glass jug had broken, spilling pennies and glass all over her living room. (Yeah, I missed an opportunity there, but hadn't packed my baby scale in my pickup.)

My almost 3 year old gets Ikes to play with, swallowing hazard is greatly reduced. He also has plastic tubes to store his "hoard" in.
