While going through a pile of Canadian nickels, I noticed some of the post 2000 were CuNi instead of steel. Are those worth keeping, or should I just dump them with the others?

It will eventually confuse buyers. I'd keep it but separate from your other CuNi

I return all non-magnetic 2006. But its a good idea just to return anything with 200X

Dimes and quarters also changed from pure nickel to iron core in that period, making all 2000 and above change worthless.

"9"s are fine, dump the millenials.

If it won't stick to a magnet I keep it as 25%Ni-75% Cu.
They made them, so I keep them.
You can also see the difference between the compositions by weight, if you have a decent scale.

I no longer keep them, too many (being in Canada). I put my capital towards the .999 for now.

Thanks everyone. I'll toss them in with the rest of the common CuNi.
