curious about these nickel ingot

got these the other day. I found out about the canadian one but the HOYT bars difficult. It seems hoyt was a company in st louis at about 1900-1920. then it got sold and thats where i get kinda lost. Each bar is 3.5 pounds except bottom one is 3 pounds. All have genuine nickel stamped into them. Believe it or not the guy i bought them from said he found them in an old house they bought. They had one in each corner to scare away ghosts. Maybe thats why the ghosts have been leaving me alone for the last few days.Joking aside any info would be great. Also would like to know if they are 100% nickel or if i have to have them x rayed.

I saw something on feebay that looked very similar and was shocked that it was selling for way under spot. was about 5 pounds. I later researched the brand that was discontinued years ago, and found out it was an alloy of varying metals. I would be sure to check. Alloys are annoying arent they? :x You cant decide if its worth something to have or not...

yeah, i'm thinking they're fairly old as well. Yes some make up of different alloys rolled together is what i've read to. I'm curious about the genuine nickel stamp though. I might have to have them x rayed. Good conversation piece if nothin else. Oh yeah and the demons are scared shitless.

Nice looking bar, and you gotta love the ghost story even if the seller was pulling your leg a bit.
