I've concluded that the most economical way (least expensive shipping charge per pound) for copper pennies is to ship 68 lbs in a medium flat rate box. But what is the most economical way (least expensive shipping charge per pound) for Canadian pure nickel bullion? Has anyone done the math?

Thanks,
Derek

yes, 68 lbs! just like pennies!

You can ship 10 lbs in a small FRB but least expensive price per pound is 68 lbs in med FRB

I just ordered 10lbs of pure Canadian Nickels on Ebay. When the package arrived, I couldn't beleive how high the shipping cost ($30.23) in Canada is compared to the US. Why is it so expensive?

Less people means less parcels. Canada is a massive country and canada post services some pretty inhospitable places. Everyone shares the cost. Just like our medical system. Its not easy to take sometimes but we just live, and deal with it. Try to keep in mind most of us don't inflate our shipping one cent, we can't, and usually take a bit of a loss if anything.
