Anyone have a good link of the actual mintage numbers for the Jefferson nickels? Wikipedia doesn't seem to be accurate and all I could find on Coinflation was 1950's listed.

Also since I am a little new to this if a coin had no mint mark then is there a common place that those were all made at?

I went to pick up pennies today and they had 2 $100 bags in the vault so I got them. Got 1 1943 P and 1 1950 D (in rough shape) but other than that I didn't see anything to exciting. Big fat 0 on any 2009's. Couldn't believe it!

I think this will be fun to give the penny sorting some time off every now and then...

Lots of good info! As far as mintages people save 38-42D, 42-45 silver, 50P&D and 2009 P&D Somewhere I saw people were saving 82P's not sure why...
Also S mints were proofs from 71 to current! Not sure if other S mints have a preimium on them but they do have low mintage numbers as well!

No surprise there for the 2009's. I haven't seen any in a while myself.

2009 is supposed to be the next key date

May take a while though to get any real value out of them

PCGS Price Guide shows value in dollars for MS60: '82-D; '82-P; '83-D; '83-P, '84-P; '85-D; & '86-D. More for Full-Steps.

Coin World Trends shows value (> $.05) for these coins and others down to Grade F-12.

Not saying there is a market, just sharing what the above sources show as a likely answer.
