First Buffalo!

Just picked up $20 of nickels. This is the first time i've bought rolls of nickels rather than just searching pocket change. Got my first ever Buffalo (1929) as well as my first non-silver pre-1950s (1939S, 1941, 1947S)

1939s is a key date for the Jefferson series. It's worth at least a buck in decent shape. Nice work!

I have been searching nickels for well over a year, and I am still missing the 38 D &S & 39 D&S to complete my Whitman folder!

i too am missing the 38 and 39 mint marks, but hand searching around 15 years ago i did find a 50D
search more!!

I've managed to find just a couple of these Buffalo nickels in the wild during my searches.
