Did another $100 mixed brinksmanship cwrs.

37 keeper including a war nickel and 1906 v nickel.

Think May do a running thread so not to clutter the forum.

Happy hunting!

Congrats! Especially on the V. What are you considering keepers? Pre 60's I guess.

Yes, sorry. Pre 60's. Also got a foreign coin that I haven't identified as of yet. I'll try to get a picture up later

Nice. V nickels are less than 1 of every 50,000 in circulation in my experience.

I hope you are right Scyther, because I am due for one and can't wait!

I moved a couple of months ago and my keep percentage has went up along with the amount of War nicks. I lost my spreadsheet on my sorts (hard drive corruption and didn't have it backed up) and restarted a new spreadsheet in December 2012. Since then I have been through $4,166 or 83,320 nickels with the following finds:

Buffalo - 12
War - 37 (2.08 oz)
09D - 55
09P - 6 (4 this month)

Needed to finish the 38-61 book
38S, 39D, 50D, and 55

I really enjoy searching the nickels right now and continue to look for the 4 to finish the book. I find it hard to believe that buffalo nickels can still be found in the wild and like to hear that you can still find a V. Best of luck in you future boxes.
