If these are in Mint Wrapped Rolls then there could be some premium value to them. If you are just wanting nickels to keep for future value, sounds like a good start. However, if these are just regular rolls that someone has handled and then rewrapped/labeled, then by all means search through them for any potentional errors and reroll, return to bank and start over with more nickels to search for things of value.
