This guy is selling 4 clad halves for $25.00

http://nh.craigslist.org/clt/2539530043.html

I sent him an email telling him that I'll sell him as many as he wants for only $1/each and he can turn around and get rich. He replied right away "I'm all set" so I sent him another email "You're all set because you know that they are worth 50 cents each. Thanks for clogging up CL with crap.

It irritates the hell out of me when I have to sift through all of these BS ads to find the good stuff. At least on eBay you can sort out the baloney BuyItNow's with one click. Maybe some of you guys could harass him too for some fun. I am going back to his ad now to flag him.

I didn't get to see the ad before it poofed...did it only say clad halfs, with no other coin description? Curious because all the coin & bullion dealers here have always referred to the 40% as clad. Whenever I hear the word I think 'silver'

No, they were not 40%. I think that 2 of them were 1976 and then he had a 1985 and a 1999 or something like that. The ad did get flagged pretty quickly. When I sent him the email telling him to stop clogging up Craigslist with crap, he sent back a long vulgar rant that I found pretty entertaining. This same guy keeps posting up a bunch of worthless stuff. I can't imagine that anyone is actually buying any of this from him. I just hope he gives up soon. Trouble is, it will only take a sucker or two to buy something from him and that will be motivation enough for him to keep doing this.
