Sort of scary:

"In spongebob we trust"

is written on the coins.

I'm not sure I would want my daughter chanting that!

These may be good in New Zealand but what about Bikini Bottom?

 I saw the ad on tv yesterday and checked them out. At $65/oz. I'll pass, even as much as I like SB. The 25th Anv. ASE sets were $60/oz and I don't SB's on ebay for $750 yet! ;)

The New Zealand Treasury must be hard press to keep their minting operation busy. If this is what the precious metals market has come down to, stick a fork in me. I'm done!
p.s.
When Spongebob first aired in 1999, my 9 year old daughter was hooked and to tell the truth so was I! ;)

Thirty years from now on the History Channel's Pawn Shop television show......" Spongebob was an extremely popular back in the early part of the century. I want those coins bad, but I have to get them for the right price."

100,000 mintage. No thanks at that price. You should be able to get them for much closer to spot later if you want them.
