Yesterday, I turned in two boxes of dimes to a B of A that I have not been to in a long time.
I know another sorter dumps his halves there because I always get rolls that are marked with dates in the 70s; so I sort of gave up getting halves there.
However, I decided to ask the teller if he had any halves to sell. He said he had over $1300 in halves he could sell me. He said they use to have $2k but had sold some of them. I asked him if they were customer wrapped and he said no they are bank wrapped.
I asked him where they got them and he said some guy turned them in; he had gotten them as a payment from someone else.
I only had $500 with me so I bought one of the boxes and told him I would be back for the rest.
I went home and the box was a skunk but I decided to go back and buy the rest anyway.
Today I went back and bought the rest.
I got out to the car and started opening one of the boxes and almost every roll had silver.
In total, I found $8 face 90% (one was a walker) and $16.50 face 40% (one was a proof) in one $500 box
This is my best find ever from a bank rolled box.

It's a lot of fun when you get a box like that, particularly if you have several rolls with silver showing before you even start.

Congratulations, I have yet to find a 90%, but I don't have much to pour into halves... or maybe "any" would be more appropriate than "much".

Congrats - my first search was my best - $100 face in 90% - and I'll probably never, ever beat that, but I'm gonna keep on looking. I've read of nearly full boxes of silver being found, and even have seen pics posted, but honestly, 1 silver of any type per box keeps me going.
Again - congrats on a GREAT and PROFITABLE find.

Congrats on your score. I've had a few boxes like that but they aren't very common. It's boxes like that that make this all worth it though.

Awesome box! If I could only get half those from a box I would feel that I won the lottery! Great hunting!

Congratz on the dream box!
Currently on a 2.5K dry streak (been going through 2K silver a week) but as you have shown, that can completely change with just one good box...
Thinking about starting up a thread of my silver hoarding (I just created my account here)

I just found 25 90's and 7 40's out of six boxes. $278 worth of silver for three hours work... I'll take it!
And actually, I like to consider it as worth double that, because that's how much I would have to earn pre-tax to buy that much.
