HH 999.9 Meaning on Round Token

Postby Franco American » Sun Feb 19, 2012 4:04 pm

Hi - I was given a round token that has the Statue of Liberty imposed over an American flag with 200 Years United States of America on one side and the signing of the declaration of independence on the back side with the date July4 1776. At the base of the Statue of Liberty it is stamped HH 999.9. The coin is much larger than a silver dollar and appears to be at least silver plated if not solid silver. I checked with a magnet and the magnet did not stick.

Does anyone know if it is solid silver or of a way to test if it is?

Thanks
