Finally took the plunge

Postby justoneguy » Mon Nov 15, 2010 11:29 am

I found this sight in the beginning of august, and it got me thinking.
I've been sorting some pennies and watching the price of silver.
i knew lead should not be the only PM that i'm storing, but silver is so high.
And silver is only going to go higher and frn's less buying power all the way around.
so finally sunday i took the plunge and bought $103.50 for $2000, about 19.3x
a little high, but now at least i'm invested :P

Well, congratulations on taking a big step. Silver might seem pricey to you for now, until everyone adjusts to these new levels, but a few years from now you'll be gloating that you were able to buy it so cheaply... and wish you had bought more. At least you're in now. 8-)

I'd be careful about believing that motto, though $2k probably won't bankrupt you should silver perform less favorably over the next 5 years... Did you buy junk, ASE's bars?
