Coin Calculator in Excel

Postby helix_rider » Sat Nov 20, 2010 7:12 pm

Hello all. I came up with a handy (to me) little spreadsheet in Excel.
I can enter the quantity of each type of coin and the # of oz. for bullion
and it will calculate the weight and value of each. Like coinflation.com,
it gives the weight and value of the silver and copper each for the 90% & 40%
coins. Also gives melt value and grand totals (weight and value) at the bottom.

All you have to do is enter the Spot Price of Silver and Copper and the quantity
of each coin that you have - and the weights/dollar value and totals are all there.

Of course this is a Ver. 1.0 and more coin varietys and categories can be added,
but it's a starting point. I've attached a screenshot of it (with demo values) for
you guys to see.

If anyone wants this spreadsheet - PM me your email address and i'll email it
to you. No, it's not password protected so modify/add/delete as you see fit.

P.S. - I got the formulas from coinflation.com so the numbers match,
and as always all comments/tips/suggestions are welcome.
