A couple of years ago, I picked up 6 rolls of cwr dimes. I noticed that the rolls looked different so checked them when I got to the car. They were all pennies. Returned them to the cashier and she knew exactly who brought them in. That was when you had to put name or acct # on the rolls.
Glad I didn't try to open them. Must have took alot of time rolling pennies in dime rollers.

Is it possible you're finding pennies struck on a dime die?
