Anybody know? Was supposed to be June 2012. It's rumored to be the new alternative to COMEX gold trading and the London fix. Haven't heard anything except in special end of America newsletter offers.

Last I had heard it will never open... It got killed before it actually had a chance to live...
Just imagine traders actually selling the commodity that they actually control physically, not just some paper contract that says they will produce for delivery the commodity if they have too; what a novel idea... That would make manipulating the price so much harder....
Sounds like a terrible idea (if you're a bank that prints a lot of paper certificates)...

I know this is an old thread, but I didn't see any newer info. Can someone tell me more about this? Why did it "get killed?" Or I guess I should ask HOW?
