Machine Cut Bars

Postby silverstacker » Tue Mar 11, 2014 7:21 pm

I recently have seen people selling machine cut silver and gold bars. Like PAMP bars cut in half. What do you guys think about this? I would think that this would de-value in some way. Not so much generics but items like PAMP bars are my concern>

Any thoughts on this? Would you buy or have bought?

I would buy, but only at spot and based on exact weight.

I wouldn't buy unless at a discount to spot. Would be hard to sell to most of the market other than a LCS who was sending in to melt, and LCS would probably pay a discount to spot for melt fees.
