Dope gets Duped...by hisself

Here's a CWR I picked up at the credit union today. Whoever put it together thought they were being clever by inserting the extra thick foreign coin in the middle, taking up the space of two dimes....but leaving in the 1964 Roosie (4th coin to the left of the fat guy)

Oh, those crafty tweakers!

So, an Irish five pence. Isn't that worth about 8c? Not a total loss if you can toss it in the next time you send stuff to Portland Mint exchange!

It just goes into the bag with all the other non-Canada foreign junk. Eventually, the bags weighs 5-7 lbs and I throw it up on a KSA.

Rarely do I bother looking up any of this stuff beforehand, unless it has a date older than 1950-ish.

Let's just say I've not had any complaints from buyers

Anytime you find silver is a good day!

I've found 40% in searched boxes of halves (boxes clearly opened and returned to banks). But never any 90% silver.

Congrats!!!
