2010 ASE's a BUY at @ 30 each right now?

Postby panther » Thu Jan 27, 2011 3:13 am

I can get unlimited (up to my piggy bank's worth) of 2010 ASE's at $30 each. $600 a roll. no discount on volume.

buy? or just stack pre64 silver? the eagles are still almost $3 over spot, but $30 2010 eagles sounded unreal about a month ago

Bite their arm off. Over here in UK, due to the effing VAT I am paying the equiovalent of $39.18 per ASE at the moment. :/

I am afraid before it is all over with in the US we will have a VAT tax as well or one specifically on bullion investments to try to discourage people holding the physical metals.

i would stick with 90% silver, it is always has less of a premium. But ASE's are a full troy ounce.... nah, stick with 90%. always buy silver for the least amount of FRN''s.

pardon my ignorance, but how much of that is the US mint's premium?

i was at a coin show in december and a dealer was selling silver maples for spot + 60 cents.
perhaps he was just trying to move them, theres no way for me to know.

the mint charges spot plus $2.50 in 2010 and $3.00 in 2011.

the maples are on Kitco now for spot plus $.25 [twenty five cents] over dealer cost.
