PM Fire incident recovery

For those of you storing PMs in a safe or fire safe, in the event of major fire, there is a of course a chance the PMs could melt (in a major structural fire that isn't put out promptly). In that event the blob will be able to be refined and you'll have some recovery, even if only 80% or whatever the case. i was just thinking though, would it therefore make sense to store all the gold in one spot and all the silver in another - possibly even segregating 90 and 999, so that your worst case scenario blobs are more easily refined. Thoughts?

Keep them in cast iron breadpans if a fire happens you'll have some sweet bars! Steel ammo cans might work but it sure will be hard prying it out of there.
"If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all property until their children wake up homeless on the continent their Fathers conquered....The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs."
