My 5-year-old's tiny fingers can reach under all the coinstar cabinets in the area and typically pull out at least one silver dime that rolled under there. The excitement on his face is worth more than the melt value of the dime.

This is why I have kids :D.

Wow, very sad. The guy's 53 and he's still living with his dad and stealing his dad's coin collection to buy drugs. I used to have a friend who did stuff like that but he died in his 20s. I realize drug addiction doesn't disappear when you reach a certain age, but I can't help but thinking "some people never grow up".

Lucky for the person who found it, though... I wonder what type of coins they were.

EDIT: I just did the math it was probably just junk silver.
